The Pacific Dawn sailed into Sydney Harbour to make this her base in October 2007, passing just two and a half metres below the Harbour Bridge. This is some ship!

The curved 'dolphin-like' shape is thanks to famous Italian architect, Renzo Piano (those sailing to New Caledonia can see his work at the Tjibou Cultural Centre). With 11 decks the Dawn offers affordable luxury and plenty of space for up to 2050 passengers. It is 50% larger than the legendary Titanic - but there are no icebergs in the Pacific!

Dining/Entertainment

There's a choice of nine bars and lounges, a pizzeria, two restaurants (there are five different evening venues for diners so passengers can choose when, where and with whom they dine). For entertainment there's cabaret, live bands, guest artists, the casino and the latest movies. Note: bare feet, singlets, hats, baseball caps and swimmers are not permitted in the restaurants.

Cabins

There are 795 cabins in total (10 suitable for wheelchairs) including 440 standard outside cabins, 171 standard inside cabins, 134 outside cabins with private balcony, 14 suites and 35 mini-suites (both with private balcony). All are spacious, comfortably furnished and air-conditioned with private facilities, phone, in-house TV, music selection, hairdryer and safety deposit box.

There's a mirrored vanity, ample wardrobe space and a private bathroom with either shower and/or bath (some suites have a Jacuzzi tub). Cabins have 24-hour room service.
