P&O Cruises - Pacific Star

This 1400 passenger ship started cruising the South Pacific in late 2005 following a US$30 million refit in 2001. It offers four dining venues, three swimming pools, plus extensive open decks (there's 11 in all!).

Dining/Entertainment

There's elegant dining in the Coral Restaurant or Promenade Lounge & Restaurant*, or be tempted with a great selection from the Lido Buffet and Lido Pizzeria & Grill* (open 24 hours). *Denotes alternative dining - charges apply.

There are 6 Bars including the spectacular Casablanca Lounge, Duke Piano Bar, Starlight Lounge, Outback Bar, Lido Pool Bar and Promenade Lounge - there are quiet lounges and poolside bars and two show rooms for lively entertainment.

Cabins

The Pacific Star has a choice of queen or twin bed configurations in most cabins and a large number of four-bed cabins. There are twelve suites with balcony and spa, 314 outside cabins, 187 Inside Cabins 187 and 4 cabins for handicapped passengers. The cabins are spacious and all have safes, television, telephone and room service. Electricity is 220 Volts/60Hz - 110 Volts/60Hz.
